I remember when I had the cool idea of cutting paper for a project and then told my professor about it and he liked the idea; the cool idea became a crazy one. I don't think cutting dozens of pieces of paper is that bad anymore thanks to Polly Apfelbaum. Amazing. Her work is made of velvet cut-outs (times a thousand). Stunning.
